The 300 SL of 1954 was the first production car with fuel injection and the fastest of its day. Its upward-opening doors were not styling — the tubular spaceframe made conventional doors impossible.
This 1:24 die-cast is finished in red, and the doors are the whole point of the model. One of the few genuinely important cars in any collection of this size.
